Dear Jazz Community:
Frank Wess is a lucky man!
As I found out about the Columbarium at St. Peter’s Church through Ms. Lynne Mueller, Ms. Narita was calling me to honor Frank’s contribution to jazz with a fund which was almost the same amount as the fee for the Columbarium! I immediately understood that this fund from the great Ms. Narita was meant to be used to put Frank’s ashes into the Columbarium.
With the kindest help of Pastor Derr and Ms. Mueller, Frank Wess’ ashes have been inurned to the Columbarium on April 19th, 2015. Mr. Jerry Dodgion and Mr. Ilya Lushtak played “lucky to be Me” for the inurnment ceremony.
Now, all of you and anybody could visit Frank Wess: resting place whenever you visited the St. Peter’s Church.
Thank you Ms. Cobi Narita!
Gratefully with Respect,
